Saving Memories of Marvila and Beato
Interviews with Marvila and Beato residents
Testimonials about Beato and Marvila material and immaterial heritage were recorded in the Marvila Library. Between 6 and 22 November, 28 persons were interviewed. They were selected in the participatory inventory carried out by the Marvila and Beato Interpretative Center Committee.
All the interviews were preceded by an exploratory conversation that allowed the identification of the particular elements of each life story directly related to this territory, its history, and transformations. A hundred short films will be produced from this valuable recorded material, each one relating to an element of cultural heritage existing or missing in Beato and Marvila territory.
