Installation of ROCK ICT sensor in Skopje
Sensors to help develop innovations for Skopje’s Old Bazaar
As part of the ROCK project, the City of Skopje installs ICT sensors in the Old Bazaar area. This will be an initial step towards finding innovative solutions for the development and sustainability of the area and its cultural heritage.
The ICT sensors are operated based on experiences of the ROCK partners DFRC, ACCIONA and the City of Vilnius. The equipment will generate different kinds of statistics, such as the number of visitors, the state of micro-climate as well as neuro-analytical data that will reflect the emotional state of the visitors. In turn, these statistics will help to identify the needs that have to be addresses in the observed area.
Currently the equipment is being set up in several institutions and cultural and historical monuments located in Skopje Old Bazaar.
