STORYTELLing THE CITY UNDER LOCKDOWN
#APPUNTIDICITTA
In this time of lockdown and social distancing, Torino Urban Lab has decided to keep an open and lively conversation on the city and its physical changes by using its online channels. A dedicated program called Appunti di città, The Notes on the City, has been launched and is obtaining growing success. The purpose is to continue exploring urban matters from different perspectives, giving the floor to inspirational local, national and international examples.
The first issue of Appunti di città focused on Cultural Heritage showcasing, among others, the experiences of ROCK Role Model City Eindhoven with its Strijp-S district and Replicator City Skopje transforming the Old Bazaar into a creative living lab.
Moreover, two interesting interviews made the news by explaining the ROCK approach in Bologna and Lisbon:
- hear the podcast by Deputy Mayor of the City of Bologna Valentina Orioli
- and watch the video starring Roberto Falanga on the regeneration of the Marvila neighborhood in Lisbon.
