TASO is a boutique consulting team for ambitious projects. That is, projects aimed at moving the state of the art forward in a range of topics, from cluster-based economic development to innovative urban policies, which is a unique and powerful combination to address the revitalization or urban economies. Its most remarkable projects in the last years are related to smart specialisation, innovative city branding & marketing and the creative economy.

Within the ROCK work plan, those TASO´s expert fields will be specially applied to WP5 (task on linking CH-led strategies to innovative city branding) and WP6 (task on linking CH-led urban regeneration to smart specialization strategies). It is worth noticing TASO´s focus on the urban scale, which is ROCK´s geographical scale too, and in particular the use of the so-called “URBACT method”, which basically means integrated approach, stakeholder involvement and international peer- learning. Within the URBACT programme, TASO has given support as Lead Expert to more than 30 cities across Europe.
